Postgraduates Studies

Hi everyone! I hope you are well in your home. Today I'm going to write about what I would like to do after get my degree.

Qué labor tiene el cirujano maxilofacial en una clínica dental ...
In the area of Odontology there are different options of postgraduate studies to choose from. And of course, there is one that caught my attention. But the problem with postgraduate studies is the cost to finance them and that in some cases it is very difficult to enter.

In mi case, the specialty I would like to study is oral and maxillofacial surgery. In this area, a surgeon works on the oral or facial area of the patient and is responsible for the treatment of traumatic alterations, infections, tumor, aesthetic and other things. It is hard work. However, entering this specialty is difficult (in our university only 14 person enter per year) and also it is very very expensive.

Obviously I would like to do it, but I also think it’s important to enjoy life. So, before making the decision, I will travel with my family, maybe to Italy, I will move from Santiago, and whatever the future holds for me.

That is all for today. Bye bye.

Themed Topic

Hi everyone, It has been some time of the last time than I wrote something on this blog. The topic of today is a free topic, but it must relate to dentistry. So, I decided to write about, What kind of career is Odontology?

During my first year at university, in class, some teacher asked us the next question: The Odontology is a manual career or scientific career?

That day the students said many answers, but specifically, they said than is a science career, because we have many scientific subjects, like chemistry or biology and others, that we need develop and manage only to get the degree. But the professor answered us that in reality we studied these subjects to understand concepts, but that our work is manual.

Tecnología de ciencia ficción que ya es una realidad en ...I thought too much about the question and the answer. And after an analysis, I risk saying that we are both. Of course, in the clinic we work directly with restorative material and perform a series of manual procedures. But also, in the clinic we must analyze the patient and decide which procedure is the best, for that specific case.

In addition, in our career we study prevention, where it is important to manage sociology, and to develop diagnostics we must know the microbiology. I don’t learn concepts because yes, I do it to be able to use them, to develop hypotheses, do research, make conclusions, and all that is a scientific nature.

That was today's blog. I apologize for so much philosophical thinking. Take care and good bye.

The Best Holidays Ever!

Hi everyone! I hope that all of you are fine at home. This is our second day of work. So, let's do it. Today I´ll writing about my best holidays ever.

It's nothing new than my family and me to choose the same destination on our vacation. And it's not than we haven't options, it is rather a necessity. Because after a full year of evaluations, stress and imsonio all I want is rest on a beach.

Departamento Algarrobo Chile - Playa Canelillo | Arriendos en ...Algarrobo, is a small commune of the central coast, located in fifth region of our country also my most desired destination.

Hoteles en Algarrobo - Agoda.comAt this point, I have to clarify that I couldn't say a specific date of "my best vacation"... because we always do the same things, every years. And yes, maybe is a routine, but I love it. I love that the first thing you feel when you arrive is smell of eucalyptus and that some days we wake up early for walk on the deserted beach, I enjoy sit down to read during the day and see at the afternoon the sunsets. In the evenings, we play card games or sometimes we talk around a campfire for hours. Some days my mom buy me a coffee with cream and cinnamon, because she knows that I like to drink it, while I see the ocean.

Every year I have the opportunity to live these moments, and I'm grateful for that. It´s my escape

That's it all for today. See you later.

A Country I Would Like to Visit

Hi everyone! I hope that all of you and also yours families are fine, in specially in these difficult moment. So, before to start the activity, I just wanna tell you to be careful, protect yourself and please don't go crazy during your confinement.

Ok, let's start with this. Today I am writing about a country I would like to visit one day. And it is hard decision, cause I have to select just one and I think that all countries have something special, like a culture, food, place, architecture ... you know.

So, after thinking too much I have chosen Italy. And Why Italy? In reality is very simple. This country have a beautiful cities, where it's streets are not only full of people, there are also stories.

Collage from photos of Italy on white background: Imágenes y fotos ...

Diez cosas que hacer en pareja en Milán - Los lugares más ...For example, Milán. This city is wonderful, very attractive from the tourists for differents reason. First, in there is the famous cathedral, "The cathedral of Milán", the most representative creation of the Gothic style (from my point of view). It's construction began in 1386 and ended in 1965. It has beautiful and colorful stained glass windows and objects of the times paleochristian and romanesque.

Also, there is the gallery "Vittorio Emanuele II ", wich has a glass dome, where you can go up and enjoy a view of the city.

Galería Vittorio Emanuele II - La galería comercial más famosa de ...Another chilling attraction is the "Basilica of San Ambrosio", where you can see the remains of Gervasio and Protasio... I could continue mention the wonders of Milan and their stories.

It's incredible to think that this is one all destinations that the Old World country offers. Venecia, Roma, Verona, Palermo, Rávena... is just beautiful.

Gervasio y Protasio - WikiwandOK, I was a little inspired. But, hey! the world is full of places and instances that we would want to be a part. Visit Spain during the "Day of Book" or Mexico for the "Day of the Dead", know Paris where was the French revolution. And who knows? Maybe someday I can do it.

I hope that I didn't bore you. See you later.
